Objective: LVC is a full-service fire protection, fire alarms, life safety, security, structured cabling, and communications technology provider. They recently moved into a new building in Minneapolis and wanted to make their surroundings beautiful and meaningful—especially the entrance.

The idea revolved around their awards and certifications. Throughout their forty-some years, they’ve won many. The goal became how to display them in a tasteful and visually inspiring way. 

One of the first things they created was a glass awards cabinet. That became the focal point, and the design began around it. The quest was to integrate the wall, space, and cabinet seamlessly. Shown is what I designed, implemented, and assembled.
